This policy explains what Remy Wigs collects on remywigs.site, which platforms receive it, and how to opt out.

What we collect

  • When you browse remywigs.site we record standard visit information: the pages you open, the site or ad that sent you here, your device, browser and approximate region, and cookies or similar identifiers stored on your device.
  • Your name and phone number are only collected when you type them into the cart checkout. They are placed into a WhatsApp message that you choose to send us — they are not stored on this website.
  • We do not ask for payment details on this site. Payment and delivery are arranged with our team on WhatsApp.

Who receives it

  • Google — through Google Analytics (measurement ID G-8DZ7RLR31H), Google Ads (account AW-18499845270) and Google Tag Manager (container GTM-MDQXFF3N).
  • WhatsApp LLC / Meta — when you open a chat with our team, the message you approved goes to us there.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your name or phone number with advertising platforms.

Why we process it

  • Measurement: to see which pages and products visitors actually use, and how many people reach checkout.
  • Ad optimisation: when you click a WhatsApp button we send Google Ads one conversion record ("WhatsApp click"). That record contains no name, phone number or cart contents — only that a WhatsApp click happened, so ad campaigns can be optimised toward people who contact us.
  • Customer service: to answer the enquiry you started and confirm payment and delivery.

Your choices and opt-outs

  • Visitors in the UK, the EEA, Switzerland and similar regions are shown a cookie choice card before any Google tag runs. Accepting turns on measurement and ad conversion tracking; choosing "Necessary only" keeps both off. Nothing is sent to Google until you decide, and a decision that refused a visit is never replayed later.
  • You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or the link inside the choice card. Your decision is recorded on this device with the date, the region it applied to and the version of this notice you were shown, so we can show what you agreed to. Changing your mind keeps the earlier record but the latest choice is what controls what is sent.
  • Visitors outside those regions are not shown the card; measurement and conversion counting run there as described above, and can still be stopped with the tools below.
  • You can leave the WhatsApp checkout at any time before opening WhatsApp; nothing is sent until you do.
  • You can stop Google Ads personalising ads to you in Google’s Ads Settings (google.com/ads/settings), and install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop analytics collection.
  • You can clear or block cookies for this site in your browser settings at any time; doing so does not affect your ability to order.
